Announcing SOC-2 Compliance at Arist

Here at Arist, we’re serious about improving learning. But we’re also serious about data security. In a world where data breaches costs reach millions of dollars, we are happy to announce SOC 2 Type I compliance.

So what is SOC 2 compliance? Why does it matter?

Here’s a little bit about the peace of mind SOC 2 offers Arist clients.

What is SOC 2 and why comply?

SOC means System and Organization Controls, as defined by AICPA (the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants). These voluntary audit processes, administered by an independent, third-party audit firm, signify a commitment to data security.

The process examines many aspects of a company’s data collection and privacy practices. For example:

  • What types of data do we collect?
  • How is data encrypted, both for transit and in storage?
  • Does the company have security policies and procedures in place?
  • Do those policies meet or exceed industry best practices?

At Arist, we saw the value inherent in undergoing this thorough audit process.

What does SOC 2 Compliance mean for you?

So what does our SOC 2 Compliance mean to you, our clients, and associates?

Compliance means that even as you quickly create customized courses, input trainee information, or otherwise interact with our innovative learning platform, your data security remains the priority.

We will always be committed to protecting the privacy of our client's data, and this is just one of many ways we’re fortifying our security at Arist.
