Full Job Description: 

Summary: The Learning and DEI Specialist is responsible for supporting organizational DEI and learning programs. This specialist will work closely with the Sr. Director of Learning and DEI to adapt and provide their expertise to optimally plan, curate, and deliver learning to all Onbe employees, and champion our DEI commitment through concrete practices that deliver on our goals.


  • Create, organize, plan, and present various forms of training for employees at all levels. Run end-to-end planning and execution in some cases
  • Produce internal and external training materials (e.g., instructor-led and online modules, job aids, FAQs)
  • Curate digital learning playlists and recommendations for self-directed learning
  • Facilitate various live learning events (panels, roundtable discussions, interactive workshops) both in person and via Microsoft Teams
  • Maintain detailed records of L&D activities, attendance, and feedback
  • Assists in the development of the strategy to aggregate and report data and relevant AML metrics for senior leadership
  • Collaborates with partnerships to evaluate and incorporate partner capabilities into Onbe solutions and services
  • Build and maintain career paths for all employees
  • Lead tasks associated with Microsoft Viva as our Learning Experience Platform (LXP) including handling course enrollment, tracking and reporting learning activities, and collecting and analyzing participant feedback
  • Maintain records and reports of the L&D budget and expenses
  • Knowledge Management experience proficiency with the use of KM systems, processes, and principles
  • Work with the key collaborators to identify, document, and eloquent gaps; recommend and evaluate solutions and enhancements
  • Regularly measure, analyze, and report on DEI data and present it in a manner that is understood by diverse partners
  • Orchestrate Onbe’s internal communication programming, including monthly All-hands, our employee groups (philanthropy, community, DEI), and in support of key People initiatives (Onbe Day, company functions)


  • 3+ years related to professional experience in Organizational Development, Talent, Learning & Development, DEI, or equivalent experience in an HR Generalist role
  • Validated experience with sophisticated lead management and lead scoring
  • Strong organizational, planning, and project management skills, including prioritizing multiple tasks and providing excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to connect with various levels within the organization
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to communicate optimally to different audiences, acting with discretion, tact, and persuasion
  • Ability to prioritize well, communicate clearly, and understand how to drive a high level of focus and excellence
  • A hard-working person who can influence others into getting behind the mission

This position can be office-based, hybrid, or fully remote in the continental United States. Onbe’s employee base is mostly clustered in the Eastern and Central time zones, with offices in suburban Philadelphia and suburban Chicago.
