The Global Learning and Development Team at DoorDash is a cross functional team of 21 who leads DoorDash University. Throughout the year, the Global Learning and Development Team designs, develops and delivers high, ROI learning and development solutions and programs to maximize business impact. About the Role

As the Learning Business Partner, you will elevate, lead and deliver DoorDash’s global corporate employee onboarding program. You will work closely with business stakeholders, cross functional partners and external vendors to execute an enterprise strategy that supports the 90-day onboarding experience for all corporate employees in DoorDash's flexible working environment. Based on your skill set and interests, you will also have an opportunity to learn new skills and to help drive strategic projects.

You will report to the Senior Manager, Talent Development on our Global Learning and Development Team in our Talent Management and Total Rewards organization. While our offices are open, we expect this role to be hybrid and based in San Francisco with some occasional travel.

You’re excited about this opportunity because you will…
  • Be the primary owner of DoorDash’s employee onboarding program by designing, developing, and delivering [ie. facilitating, evaluating and scaling] an enterprise onboarding strategy to support the onboarding experience of all DoorDash employees.
  • Partner closely with business leaders, cross functional team members and stakeholders to iterate on the vision, strategy, roadmap and success metrics for onboarding at DoorDash.
  • Conduct a business needs analysis for onboarding and then, design, develop and deliver blended learning solutions that address those gaps.
  • Serve as a strategic and trusted advisor to the Senior Manager, Talent Development, Director of Global Learning and Development, Director of Talent Management, Director of DEI, business leaders and cross functional partners about onboarding.
  • Use data, analytics and anecdotes to develop insights, evaluate success and drive decisions.
  • Develop, coach and mentor others on the Global Learning and Development Team by fostering psychological safety where every team member can contribute and be their best selves.
We’re excited about you because you [have/a/are]…
  • Proven track record of building, driving and scaling onboarding and learning solutions.
  • Lead with curiosity, are passionate about learning and you strongly believe that a successful Global Learning and Development strategy includes the advancement and upward mobility of women, nonbinary and underrepresented employees.
  • Strong communication [written and verbal], listening and stakeholder management skills; you pride yourself on being an effective communicator and building strong relationships that serve as one of the foundations of your leadership.
  • Enjoy change management and adapting to an evolving business while staying focused on the anchors of your onboarding strategy.
  • Excited about and available to travel domestically and internationally at least 10% of your time. Travel needs may shift as the Global Learning and Development Team grows.
  • 6+ years of experience in designing, developing, and delivering onboarding and learning solutions that are intricately connected to business needs; coaching, DEI and topical learning certifications are a plus.
