About the Team

As the Global Learning and Development Team continues to grow, we are hiring a Learning and Development Coordinator to help us scale and shape our future. This is a unique opportunity to drive impact at DoorDash where our focus is on achieving global scale, enabling new lines of business, and serving new employee segments.

The Global Learning and Development Team at DoorDash is a cross functional team of 21 who leads DoorDash University. Throughout the year, the Global Learning and Development Team designs, develops and delivers high, ROI learning and development solutions and programs to maximize business impact. As a member of the Global Learning and Development Team, the Learning and Development Coordinator will be joining an agile, world class team with a strong bias for action that is focused on scaling learning to support all DoorDash employees in creating career-defining work.

About the Role

As the Learning and Development Coordinator, you will partner with the Learning Delivery Manager and Learning Program Managers to build and standardize processes that allow our team to operate with excellence. You will create a global learning delivery schedule, coordinate program materials and process vendor payments. Based on your skill set and interests, you will also have an opportunity to learn new skills and to help drive strategic projects.

You will report to the Learning Delivery Manager on our Global Learning and Development Team in our Talent Management and Total Rewards organization. While our offices are open, we expect this role to be remote, with some occasional travel.

Execute. You will work closely with the Learning Delivery Manager to build and standardize processes that allow our team to operate with excellence.

Schedule. You will create our global learning delivery schedule to ensure every program is delivered with excellence across multiple cohorts, locations, employee segments, and time zones.

Communicate. You will communicate with Learning Program Managers throughout the program journey to ensure they have what they need to be successful in managing their programs.  

Track. You will track attendance and completion of program experiences and assignments.  

Coordinate. You will coordinate with vendors to process paperwork and payments to ensure all logistical program needs are met and everyone involved has the right materials and information they need.

Support. Support others on the Global Learning and Development Team by fostering psychological safety where every team member can contribute and be their best selves.

Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. You are a clear and concise communicator who targets multiple audiences effectively. Public speaking or facilitation experience is a plus.

Customer-centric and service-oriented. You listen to the voice of the customer and put the needs of the customer first to provide an outstanding customer experience from start to finish.

Excited about and available to travel domestically and internationally at least 10% of your time. Travel needs may shift as the Global Learning and Development Team grows.

2+ years experience of coordination, program or project management experience. You have excelled in high-performance, high-growth cultures [whether in tech, operations, strategy, or a related experience].
